How did it get to December - eeek?! We had a great DIY evening on 25th November making hessian gingerbread men, cranberry hearts and jewellery to wow people at Christmas parties! Thanks for coming along. We won't be holding another DIY evening this year but will put details of the first evening of 2010 up on the blog in the new year.
Newsnight came to film us in October as part of their Make do and Mend section, here is the link to the piece which was on tele last night http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00p92n6/Newsnight_03_12_2009/ - Emma did really well in the interview - I owe her one big time for doing that!
Have a Happy Christmas everyone and thanks for your support this year.

September Craft D.I.Y Evening - 30th September
The months seem to be disappearing fast - I can't believe it is September already! We have got some lovely things for next Wednesday including rose heart decorations (they are really really pretty) and lavender cushions (very relaxing) - both are straightforward to make but look so effective and you get that satisfied feeling when you look at the end result! We will also have some pearl ribbon necklaces which Emma and I have been wearing and have had lots of complements about. Other jewellery includes the bauble necklaces and frayed necklaces. We are really looking forward to it and hope to see you at Boda Bar from 7pm.

D.I.Y evening 26th August
Emma and I are looking forward to seeing you at the D.I.Y evening tomorrow night (26th August). We will be in the Boda Bar from 7pm and have some great packs for you - beautiful rose heart decorations (you really will want to have one in your home), the famous bauble necklaces, lavender hearts (they smell so good), lanterns and much more. See you there!

Welcome to Edinburgh Craft Guerrilla's blog
Hooray! We have set up our blog and are keen to let you know what we have been up to as part of the expanding craft army.
On 27th May 2009 we launched the Edinburgh Craft Guerrilla at Boda Bar, Leith Walk. The Bar was packed with enthusiastic craftsters who made the launch a huge success. Anna of the Boda Bar generously got the night going with a pop by giving everyone a glass of fizz. The craft packs on offer were bauble necklaces, cranberry hearts, felt fridge magnets and material brooches - the results were amazing with everyone putting their own creativity into them.
We have since held 2 more evenings at the Boda Bar and a sugar rush has been provided by Al, who has wowed everyone with his Key Lime Pie and Dark Chocolate and Orange Zest muffins! The bauble necklaces have remained a firm favourite and we have enjoyed introducing new craft packs, including frayed necklaces and gift boxes.
The Edinburgh D.I.Y craft evenings are held on the last Wednesday of every month at Boda Bar, Leith Walk. The next craft evening will be on Wednesday 26th August - please come and join us. Al has asked for suggestions for what he should make for the next sugar rush so please email us with your wishes!
